As of 2024, the total amount of direct damage caused to Ukraine as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation has increased by 15% and amounts to $176 billion.
This was announced by Volodymyr Landa, senior economist at the Center for Economic Strategy, during an online discussion, reports UNN.

According to the specialist, the total amount of direct losses increased by 15% - to $176 billion, and the estimate of reconstruction needs - by 8% to $524 billion.
For 2025, priority is given to recovery and reconstruction programs with a total cost of $17 billion. Of these, investment projects are estimated at $12 billion, and non-investment projects - at more than $5 billion.
Secured funding currently amounts to only $7 billion, respectively, the funding deficit is $10 billion - more than 57% of the required amount.
