Duty and VAT exemption for imports of energy equipment: Zelensky signs laws

The President of Ukraine has signed laws abolishing taxes and duties on imports of goods for the production of demining machines and power equipment. The laws will come into force tomorrow, but the Cabinet of Ministers has a month to develop the regulatory framework.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed bills that provide for the abolition of tax and duty on the import of goods required for the production or repair of mechanized demining machines, as well as for energy equipment. This was reported by UNN with reference to the cards of bills No. 11258 and No. 11259.

This law will come into force tomorrow, but the Cabinet of Ministers will still have a month to develop the regulatory framework necessary for its implementation. After that, it will be possible to import equipment into Ukraine without customs duties and VAT
Addendum
On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft laws No. 11258 and No. 11259 as a whole, with amendments providing for exemption from customs duties and VAT on imports of energy equipment.
