Dollar at 44.16 and Euro at 51.41: NBU releases official exchange rates for Tuesday

The NBU has set the dollar exchange rate at 44.16 UAH and the euro at 51.41 UAH. In banks, the dollar is trading at 43.85-44.37 UAH, while the euro is at 51.15-51.72 UAH.
As of Tuesday, May 19, the National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate at 44.16 hryvnia per dollar. The official rate on Monday was 44.07 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro will be 51.41. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data.

The official dollar exchange rate is: 44.1591 UAH (+9 kopecks) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at: 51.4100 UAH (+15 kopecks) per 1 euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 12.11 UAH (+4 kopecks) per 1 zloty.
According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 Tuesday:
- in banks, the dollar is trading at a rate of 43.85-44.37 UAH, the euro at 51.15-51.72 UAH, and the zloty at 11.80-12.40 UAH;
- on the interbank market, rates are 44.13-44.16 UAH/USD and 51.43-51.45 UAH/EUR.

During the first four months of 2026, Ukrainians paid 15.8 billion UAH in land tax — 14.3% more than last year. The largest budget revenues were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Kyiv.
