Diabetes can occur if you eat too many sweets:

Sugar does not cause diabetes, but its uncontrolled consumption provokes obesity, which increases the risk of developing type II diabetes.

Diabetes mellitus requires a special diet:

Diabetics should eat a balanced diet: cereals, greens, lean meat and fish, etc.

Insulin is not prescribed for type II diabetes mellitus:

If medications and a balanced diet do not help, a doctor may prescribe insulin therapy to save a life.

It is not advisable for women with diabetes to become pregnant and give birth:

Women with diabetes successfully become pregnant and give birth to healthy children. It is important to do so under the supervision of an endocrinologist and gynecologist, to follow prescriptions, and to maintain blood glucose levels.

Diabetics should not eat sweets:

People with diabetes need to control their sugar intake rather than eliminate it completely from their diet.
