Bank verification via "Diia" now takes just a few minutes without paper documents. The service has already been implemented by 24 Ukrainian financial institutions.
The "Diia" online public services platform has simplified the process of opening a bank account for Ukrainians, transforming banking, the service reported, according to UNN.

Previously, opening a bank account meant visiting a branch, handling paper documents, or providing passport photos and undergoing video verification. This slowed down the process and created additional barriers for users, "Diia" noted.
"Today, this scenario is changing - and we are setting a new technological standard. Thanks to 'Diia,' identity verification during bank registration takes just a few minutes: right on your smartphone, without paperwork or unnecessary steps," the public services platform reported.
As reported, 24 banks have already integrated "Diia" services. The results were presented in an infographic.
