The Russian Investigative Committee stated that Navalny died of a “combined disease” and “arrhythmia”. The politician's widow refutes the official version and believes that he was murdered and that the evidence is being hidden.
Russia has officially confirmed that the death of politician Alexei Navalny was the result of a "combined disease" and was caused by an "arrhythmia." This is stated in the ruling of the Investigative Committee for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, which was received by Navalny's team, UNN reports.

According to the IC, Navalny's condition "deteriorated sharply" during his walk on February 16. After that, he was brought into the building, and then it was decided to place him in the medical unit and call an ambulance.
Until the ambulance arrived, Navalny received indirect heart massage and artificial respiration. However, at 14:17, doctors pronounced him dead.
The document emphasizes that the politician's death "is not of a criminal nature" and was triggered by a "critical increase in blood pressure." In addition, according to the ruling, Navalny was diagnosed with cholecystitis, pancreatitis, intervertebral hernia and other diseases.
In this regard, the IC refused to open a criminal case over the politician's death.

According to the politician's widow, Yulia Navalnaya, Alexei did not have any heart disease during his lifetime.
