Currency exchange rates as of July 9: the euro rose to 44 UAH for the first time, the dollar also rose in price

The National Bank of Ukraine set the official hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 40.7000/USD and UAH 44.07/EUR, devaluing the hryvnia against both the dollar and the euro.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 40.7000 UAH/USD, which devalued the hryvnia by 17 kopecks, UNN reports citing the NBU.
Details
The official dollar exchange rate is 40.70 UAH/USD. The NBU has also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at 44.07 UAH/€.
According to the data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 40.95 and sold for UAH 40.50 in banks.
- Euros can be bought for UAH 44.50 and sold for UAH 43.80 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 40.94-41.05, and the euro at UAH 44.40-44.53.
- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are UAH 40.72-40.74 for the dollar and UAH 44.15-44.16 for the euro, respectively.
