The Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for the production director of JSC "Company of Aviation and Rocket-Space Engineering" Ruslan Kuchynskyi, who is suspected of criminal negligence in the case of explosions at an ammunition depot in Vyshneve. This is reported by a correspondent of UNN from the courtroom.

The court granted the prosecution's motion and chose a preventive measure for Ruslan Kuchynskyi in the form of detention for a period of two months - until September 14 - without the right to bail.
After the court hearing, Kuchynskyi refused to answer journalists' questions.
Context
On the night of July 6, a Russian ballistic missile of the "Iskander" system struck an ammunition depot in Vyshneve, Kyiv region. After the strike, a large-scale secondary detonation occurred, lasting several hours. As a result of the tragedy, seven people died, 29 were injured, and over 600 residents were evacuated.
According to the investigation, a significant amount of ammunition was stored in premises that did not meet safety requirements and were not intended for such use. Officials are suspected of criminal negligence that led to severe consequences and loss of life.
