The HACCU Appeals Chamber did not satisfy the appeal of the defense of former PrivatBank CEO Oleksandr Dubilet against the decision to arrest him. The court's decision of October 16 on detention remains in force.
The panel of the HACCU Appeals Chamber dismissed the defense's appeal against the judge's ruling that arrested former PrivatBank CEO Oleksandr Dubilet in absentia, the court said on Monday, UNN reports.

"... decided to dismiss the appeal of the suspect's defense counsel Oleksandr Valeriyovych Dubilet, and to uphold the decision of the HACC investigating judge of October 16, 2024," the presiding judge said.
According to the judge, this refers to the court ruling of October 16 on the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Dubilet.

In October 2023, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced the search for a suspect in the criminal proceedings, Oleksandr Valeriyovych Dubilet, born on 25.10.1962, in criminal proceedings No. 12017040000000531 dated 06.03.2017 on suspicion of committing crimes under Part 5 of Art. 191, Part 3 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
