Court orders Defense Ministry to restore house of aircraft designer Igor Sikorsky

The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal ordered the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to restore the historic house of aircraft designer Igor Sikorsky, confirming its cultural value.
The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal has ruled that the House of Aircraft Designer Igor Sikorsky should be restored. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, UNN reports .
The Ministry of Defense is to bring the building into proper condition through conservation and restoration work. The house of the famous aircraft designer Ihor Sikorsky has historical and cultural value and is a nationally recognized historical monument. Currently, the house is in need of immediate restoration

In June, the Kyiv District Administrative Court ordered the Defense Ministry to conclude a security agreement with the ICIP and to bring the national monument, the house of the world-famous aircraft designer Ihor Sikorsky, into proper condition.
Finally, yesterday, the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal, so the demand to restore the cultural heritage site came into force.
