"The Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wieslaw Kukula, began a working meeting in Kyiv with a flower-laying ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance of those who fell for Ukraine. The general arrived on a visit at the invitation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syryskyi," the Polish Armed Forces General Staff reported.

As the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces emphasized, "this is another important meeting between the two commanders, which demonstrates solidarity and cooperation between Poland and our eastern neighbor in the face of Russian aggression.

"During the meeting, Generals Wiesław Kukula and Oleksandr Syrskyi discussed the current situation on the frontline during the war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the needs and possibilities of supporting the Armed Forces of this country and the training of Ukrainian military within the EU Mission Command CAT-C (Combined Arms Training) in Poland. General Syrsky and his colleagues also discussed the functioning of air defense. At the end of the visit, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked Poland for the assistance provided so far," the Polish Armed Forces General Staff said.
