In Bukovyna, an official of the medical advisory commission was detained for receiving bribes of $3,500 to $5,000 for falsely registering healthy men as disabled in group II to avoid military service.

An official of the medical advisory commission who received a bribe by "registering" men of military age as persons with group II disability was detained in Bukovyna. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.

A corruption scheme involving the granting of disability for a bribe was uncovered in Bukovyna. During a special operation, law enforcement officers detained an official of the Medical Advisory Commission, who, in return for a bribe, "registered" healthy men as persons with group II disabilities. The cost of this "service" ranged from $3,500 to $5,000.

She received money at every stage of corrupt activity. In the course of procedural measures, law enforcement officers documented that the doctor received UAH 2000, EUR 600 and USD 3500 in illegal benefits.

As a result of the searches, law enforcement officers seized cash in various currencies in the amount of UAH 8.4 million.

The suspect was detained and served a notice of suspicion under Part 3 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 181,680 was chosen as a measure of restraint.
