Border guards warned of possible slowdown of traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border starting August 26

On August 26, repair work will begin at the Shehyni checkpoint for a month and a half. Border guards warn of a possible slowdown in traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border and ask that you take this into account when planning your travels.

Starting August 26, traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border may be slowed down due to  repair work at the Shehyni checkpoint. The work will last for a month and a half, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported, UNN reported. 

Attention:  On August 26 at 9:00 a.m., repair work on two lanes of the Shehyne checkpoint will begin. These are the lanes for the clearance of trucks and buses leaving the territory of Ukraine. The repairs will last a month and a half

Border guards asked citizens to take this information into account when planning their travels.
