"I will only work with the figures of losses at customs. During the period of the biggest blockade, the losses are quite significant. In November, it was up to UAH 9 billion. February-March also saw significant losses. That is, the failure of the customs to fulfill monthly targets is primarily due to the blockade of the borders. This, of course, complicates our funding opportunities, and we would like the situation to be resolved and the borders to be unblocked," Marchenko said when asked how the situation at the border affects the economy.
Recall
The governments of Ukraine and Poland have made progress in lifting the blockade on the Polish-Ukrainian border. The plan to de-block the border is being implemented, but not as fast as we would like, but there are positive trends that are important to maintain and move forward.
