The Deputy Minister of Economy said that the funds for Winter eSupport came from savings on other programs of the Ministry. Earlier, other sources of funding for the program were reported.
Deputy Minister of Economy Nadiya Bihun said that the funds for the Winter eSupport came from savings. She said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
“The funds for the Winter Fuel Aid are a program of the Ministry of Economy, which was created by saving on other programs of the Ministry. The funds were reallocated and directed to provide support,” said Bigun.

Since the announcement of the Winter eSupport, there has been information that the funds have been allocated by Western partners.
Subsequently, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee, Roksolana Pidlasa, said that the government would take unused funds from the Unemployment Fund to pay the bill.
