Attackers on policemen detained in Odesa region - Interior Ministry

Two servicemen, a father and son aged 52 and 26, who killed one police officer and wounded another in Vinnytsia region, were detained in Odesa region.
The murderers of the policeman, who were detained today , were hiding in the Odesa region. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, UNN reports.

It is reported that thanks to the coordination of various services, operatives have established the whereabouts of the defendants in the case of the murder of a police officer in Vinnytsia region. As it turned out, they were hiding in Odesa region. The criminals were detained with the force support of the KORD special forces.
It is specified that the attackers are two soldiers, a father and son, 52 and 26 years old, natives of Vinnytsia region.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings over the attack under Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - Murder or attempted murder of a law enforcement officer in connection with the performance of his or her official duties. The sanction of the article provides for up to life imprisonment. The circumstances of the incident and the motives for the crime are being established.
