People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will propose Ihor Klymenko, who headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the post of Minister of Defense. He added that Fedorov will not retain his post "due to the failure of the TCC reform."
Against the backdrop of Mykhailo Fedorov's dismissal, advisors to the Minister of Defense - Serhiy Sternenko and Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov - announced the end of their work at the Ministry of Defense.
In addition, Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavlo Yelizarov submitted his resignation. He added that he does not express a desire to continue military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and does not wish to serve in the military reserve under the relevant military specialty.
