An explosion occurred in the center of occupied Berdiansk, which may be related to the liquidation of collaborator Pavel Ishchuk. Earlier, the court sentenced Ishchuk to 8 years in prison in absentia for high treason.
The explosion in the center of Berdiansk may be connected with the liquidation of the pseudo-deputy "mayor" of the city, collaborator Pavel Ishchuk. This was reported by the head of the Berdiansk city military administration Victoria Galitsyna, reports UNN.
According to the operational information received by the Berdiansk MVA, the morning explosion in the city center at 5 a.m. may be connected with the liquidation of the pseudo-deputy "mayor" of Berdiansk for foreign and domestic policy and mass communications, collaborator Pavel Ishchuk
She also pointed out that, given the objective reasons related to the occupation of the city, the information could be clarified.

By the decision of the Zhovtnevyi District Court of Zaporizhzhia dated May 15, 2023, Pavlo Ishchuk was found guilty in absentia of committing a criminal offense under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to 8 (eight) years of imprisonment with disqualification to hold positions in state authorities, local governments, state, municipal enterprises, institutions, organizations of any form of ownership and in bodies providing public services for a period of 15 years, with confiscation of all his property.
