A new route to Budapest and Vienna will be launched from Ukraine on December 10, UNN reports, citing a statement from Ukrzaliznytsia.

Moreover, the connection to Vienna will reportedly become convenient for passengers of the flight #367/368 Lutsk - Rivne - Chop - Uzhhorod. "The timetables are designed in such a way that the passenger will spend the night part of the trip abroad (Kyiv, Rivne, Lutsk, Lviv - Chop) in comfortable sleeping cars of Ukrzaliznytsia, and the day segment (Chop - Budapest - Vienna) in modern 1st or 2nd class seats of Hungarian railways," UZ said.
The cost of a ticket from Kyiv to Vienna (2nd class seat car + compartment) is said to be about 2500 UAH: almost 1000 UAH cheaper than the direct Kyiv-Vienna connection in "Ritz" class cars. Tickets for the domestic segment are already available. But, as indicated, there is also a temporary inconvenience, as the sale of online tickets to Hungary and Austria will be launched in the coming weeks.
