In the city of Berezan, Kyiv region, a drunken man set fire to a house, killing a woman, and the attacker was notified of suspicion. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv regional police, UNN reports .

At the scene, law enforcement officers found that a 47-year-old local resident was involved in the crime.
The police found out that the suspect was vacationing in the company of his friends: two women and a man. While drinking alcohol, a conflict arose between the guests. The offender left the house to the garage, took a gasoline can and returned, poured flammable substance and set fire to the room. As a result, the room caught fire.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. Investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion of committing a premeditated murder (Part 1 Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
