A drunk Volkswagen driver crashed into a VAZ car in Kyiv region, injuring four people who were hospitalized.

"The accident happened on April 2 in the town of Vasylkiv, around 9 p.m. Law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that the 47-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, while driving under the influence of alcohol, did not give way to the oncoming VAZ," the statement said.

As a result of the accident, the 19-year-old driver of the VAZ and three passengers sustained injuries of varying degrees and were hospitalized.
