A drone attacked the Tambov gunpowder plant in Russia, despite authorities' claims that two drones were shot down by air defense systems.

In Russia, a drone has once again attacked the Tambov gunpowder plant, UNN reports citing the Tverdiy Znak Tambov Telegram channel.

Details

Drones attacked the Russian city of Kotovsk in the Tambov region on the morning of July 4. However, according to the governor, Maxim Yegorov, two drones were allegedly shot down by air defense.

"Around 4 a.m., two UAVs were spotted arriving in the Tambov region. Both were destroyed. There were no casualties or damage. The situation is under control," Yegorov wrote.

In turn, a local resident told Tverdnyi Znak Tambov that air defense systems failed to shoot down the drone. The attack took place in the area of a gunpowder factory.

"If two drones were shot down, then why did the arrival happen? It definitely doesn't look like a downed drone. The authorities are lying again," he said.

Recall
