A driver lost control in a road accident in Mykolaiv region: a passenger was killed and a child was injured

In Mykolaiv region, a 24-year-old driver of a VAZ-2104 lost control and drove into a tree. The accident killed a 37-year-old passenger and injured the driver, a 3-year-old child and a 49-year-old man.
On August 6, a traffic accident occurred near the village of Ivanivka in Mykolaiv region. A 24-year-old driver of a VAZ-2104 car lost control and drove into a tree. One of the passengers died in the ambulance. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Mykolaiv region, UNN reports.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on the T15-13 Nechayane-Kamianka highway at 23:20.
The driver and two other passengers, a three-year-old child and a 49-year-old man, were injured and hospitalized.
"As a result of the traffic accident, a 37-year-old passenger died in an ambulance from his injuries," the statement said.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under the article "Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles, which caused the death of the victim". The article provides for up to eight years in prison.
As of July 7, the driver was served a notice of suspicion. The police are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
