Polish prosecutors on Thursday evening completed investigative actions at the site of a missile crash in Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland; investigators recovered numerous fragments of the missile and will conduct a detailed examination on Friday with the participation of a Ukrainian expert, reports RMF24, writes UNN.

Marcin Kozak, spokesman for the Lublin Prosecutor's Office, announced on Thursday evening that the crater from the missile has been filled in and the area has been returned to the owner.
He summarized that during operations on Thursday, soldiers of the country's Territorial Defense Forces combed an area of approximately 3 square kilometers, "discovering numerous missile fragments, including engine components."
Further procedural actions are planned for Friday, the prosecutor said, including an inspection of the missile fragments at the headquarters of the Military Police. A Ukrainian expert will take part in the investigation to help Polish services identify the discovered object. Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk confirmed on Thursday evening that a Russian Kh-101 missile fell in the Lublin Voivodeship.
Spokesman Marcin Kozak earlier reported that investigators are examining the explosion site, a crater approximately 10 meters in diameter and 5 meters deep. They secured fragments, missile components, and collected soil samples.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, which is investigating the case, reported that the missile was most likely a Kh-101 and contained a "significant amount of explosive material." The Military Department of the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin is conducting an investigation into the violation of Polish airspace and the cause of the crash.
In a post published later in English, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk recalled that the missile violated Polish airspace and fell 50 km from Lublin. "The missile was armed. It is very likely that it was Russian. I would like to thank all EU and NATO leaders for their solidarity and readiness to help," Tusk wrote.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz later referred to Tusk's post in his own message. "More and more evidence collected by the Military Police confirms that a Russian Kh-101 missile fell to the ground," he wrote.
Earlier, during a press conference at the scene, Tusk announced that "all elements of what happened from the Russian and Ukrainian sides" would be thoroughly investigated, as well as "all elements of the state's response, so that our actions improve every week, every month."
Tusk also emphasized that he is in contact with most European leaders. He noted that the United States and Ukraine have expressed interest in participating in the investigation. The Prime Minister also assured that he is in contact with Polish President Karol Nawrocki on this matter and that "there are no prospects for any difficulties in cooperation between all state institutions."
