At the initiative of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the government has allowed destroyed enemy equipment to be transferred free of charge to foreign museums. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence, UNN writes.

This concerns captured military equipment seized or received during the repulsion and deterrence of the armed aggression of the russian federation. It will be transferred free of charge for use as museum objects or for the organization of exhibitions.
The transfer of destroyed examples of captured equipment to foreign museums will contribute to the international documentation of the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
In particular, museums in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark and the Netherlands will receive T-72 captured tanks for organizing exhibitions. The enemy equipment has lost its combat capabilities, contains no explosive elements and can be displayed to visitors abroad.
Such exhibitions abroad will help convey objective information about the course of Ukraine’s struggle for independence and demonstrate to the international community real evidence of the war
In addition, the project’s implementation will contribute to the development of cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of cooperation with foreign museum institutions.
