The Head of State noted that three lines of defense are being built even where there are no hostilities. Regardless of the direction, fortifications are built to the same standards.
In particular, in Chernihiv region, where the President spoke to Ukrainian journalists. He emphasized that this direction is not only heroic, but also strategic.
It's no secret that we are building borders. Russians and Belarusians, or Russians in Belarus, should know this. Yes, there are borders here. Yes, there will be three powerful defense lines. There is an army here. There are "dragon's teeth" and anti-tank ditches - there are no secrets. Thanks to modern technology, they already have all this, but nevertheless, there is no need to hide it, because they must know that there will be resistance
The President emphasized: "all the work on the construction of defensive lines in the most dangerous areas of the border should be completed in a few months." According to him, the closer to the fighting, the faster the construction proceeds.

The government allocates more than UAH 5.7 billion for the construction of fortifications in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
