NATO now wants to help with the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News, reports UNN with reference to Sky News.
The US President stated that the peace talks with Iran were very friendly until the very end.
"We are going to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, it will take some time," he said, adding that "clearing the strait will not take long."
He stated that "many countries will help us" with the strait, adding that Great Britain and other countries are sending minesweepers.
Trump said his social media post, in which he threatened that "an entire civilization would perish tonight" if Iran did not agree to a deal to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, forced Iranian negotiators to the table.
He said the Iranians did not leave the negotiating table, adding: "I predict they will come back and give us everything we want."
