"This morning, the occupiers launched a missile strike on the city of Balakliia in the Izium district. The impact on a two-story residential building caused a fire," the statement said.
According to the report, the building's roof and one of the apartments were burning.
"Later, the enemy launched a repeated missile strike on the residential sector. Multi-story and private residential buildings were damaged," the State Emergency Service noted.
A fire reportedly broke out in one of the buildings.
Operational units of the State Emergency Service, a community rescue officer, medics, and law enforcement officers worked at the scene.

According to data from Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Kharkiv and 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy strikes over the past day. As a result of the shelling, 10 people were injured, including a child.
Today, according to him, the occupiers also struck the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a UAV. A hit was recorded on the grounds of a private household. No information about casualties was received.
