Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, in cooperation with the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, have found evidence of possible illegal enrichment of the former head of the Kharkiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. The SAP prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court for the confiscation of property in civil proceedings in the amount of 4 million 850 thousand hryvnias from the ex-head of the Kharkiv TCC. This property was used by relatives of the former official.
We are talking about two cars — a 2023 BMW X6 and a 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which were registered to close associates of the official in 2023–2024. At that time, he held the position of head of the district recruitment center and temporarily acted as the head of the regional TCC and SP.
Experts of the Bureau analyzed the official income of both the serviceman himself and his relatives. And they came to the conclusion that the purchase of these cars could not be financed from legal sources.
In order to prevent the sale or other alienation of dubious property, the court decided to seize the relevant movable and immovable property within the framework of the case. The trial in the case is ongoing.
