The occupiers are increasing the number of mobile fire groups on the approaches to Crimea. This was reported by the "ATESH" partisan movement, UNN informs.
Details
It is noted that the movement's agents are recording a sharp increase in the number of mobile fire groups on the R-280 highway, in the Chonhar area, and on the bridges across the North Crimean Canal in the direction of Kalanchak. Columns of armed pickups and vehicles with machine gunners have become noticeably denser along the entire administrative border of occupied Crimea and the Kherson region.
This is a direct reaction to the increasing UAV strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine, which are methodically disabling logistics along the so-called land corridor to Crimea. Special attention to the crossings near Chonhar and the bridge junctions of the North Crimean Canal indicates one thing: the occupiers realize the vulnerability of these specific points and are trying to cover them
It is pointed out that the creation of the "land corridor" was one of the official reasons for the Russian invasion in 2022, but now its security no longer seems guaranteed.
Chonhar Bridge destroyed – Head of the CPD of the NSDC10.06.26, 12:33
Context
On the night of June 9, the Chonhar Bridge, which connects Crimea with the Kherson region, suffered repeated strikes.
The first time this happened was on the night of June 7 — Ukrainian FP-2 and Behemoth drones attacked the Chonhar Bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea. The strike was carried out by units of the Phalanx multi-domain operations center of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment and the 475th Separate Assault Regiment Code 9.2. After the attack, traffic on the bridge was blocked. Presumably, the second strike was delivered using the same means.
On June 11, it became known about strikes on two bridges across the North Crimean Canal — in the area of the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Myrne.
