According to the command, in accordance with current procedures, all necessary forces and means were activated. Fighter jets and a long-range radar detection aircraft were scrambled, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance units were placed on full alert.
Poland emphasized that these measures are preventive in nature and aimed at protecting airspace, especially in areas bordering Ukraine.
At the same time, a number of monitoring channels report the possible entry of individual Russian cruise missiles into Polish airspace. There is no official confirmation of this information from Polish authorities or the military yet.
The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces stated that it continues to monitor the development of the situation, and all involved forces remain ready for immediate response.
