Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, has reacted to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's statement regarding his proposal to hold a meeting with the Russian leadership at the G7 summit. He also commented on the arrival of U.S. President Donald Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, in Moscow, UNN reports with reference to Russian "media."

As Peskov noted, "Russia has received no proposals from Zelenskyy, as there are no contacts between Moscow and Kyiv." At the same time, the Kremlin insists on its own conditions for a meeting with the President of Ukraine.
"If Zelenskyy is ready to speak responsibly and seriously — in fact, the Kyiv regime knows perfectly well what is at stake — then he can always come to Moscow, where he will be received,"
At the same time, the spokesperson for the Russian dictator added that there are currently no exact dates for the visit of the American negotiators.
"The Americans are still preparing for the signing of the memorandum that was agreed upon. We know that the signing is scheduled for the end of this week in Switzerland. Well, after that, presumably, there will be talk of them being able to fly to Moscow. As soon as the dates are agreed upon, we will inform you,"
