Russia cannot dictate the size of the Ukrainian army, and this is the common emphasis of all participants of the summit in Paris. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference, reports UNN.

Zelenskyy noted that it is important that the Russians do not have support in this direction.
In Europe, we see that they have no support, in most countries, at least the entire coalition that gathered today, everyone in it supports that Ukraine should maintain a strong army, one that is resisting the Russian invasion today. It is important that the same attitude is in the USA, so today's meeting also sends such a signal to the USA and others

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the summit in Paris discussed how to strengthen sanctions to support the US initiative to bring Russia to the negotiating table through further pressure, as well as further military and operational plans to support any ceasefire and peace in Ukraine "on the ground, in the air or at sea," British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said after the summit.
