On the third day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine competed in 11 sports. Olga Kharlan opened the medal count for the Ukrainian team at the Olympics.
Fencing (sabre, individual)
Olga Kharlan is a bronze medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games.
In the 1/32 finals, Olena Kravatska defeated Algerian Saoussen Boudiaf (15:8) and advanced to the 1/16, where she minimally lost to Japanese Misaki Emura (14:15).
Alina Komashchuk started and finished her journey in the 1/16 finals: 8:15 in favor of Korean Hayoung Jeong.
Shooting (10m air pistol)
Olena Kostevych and Viktor Bankin finished qualification in 13th position and did not make it to the final.
Judo (weight category up to 57 kg)
In the 1/16 finals, Daria Bilodid quickly defeated Nera Tebwa from Kiribati with an ippon throw. It took her 5 seconds. In a very difficult fight against Japanese Haruka Funakubo, the Ukrainian received three shido and left the Olympics at the 1/8 final stage.

Ihor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalov, finishing second in the repechage, advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Games.
