Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of delaying a ceasefire in the region due to his corruption trial, UNN reports.
"Netanyahu's criminal trial will resume on Sunday. A ceasefire in the region, including Lebanon, will accelerate his arrest," he wrote in an online post.
"If the US wants to collapse its economy by allowing Netanyahu to kill diplomacy, that will be their choice. We consider it pointless, but we are ready for it."

An Israeli court official said the trial would resume on Sunday, and Netanyahu would be the country's first sitting prime minister to be charged with a crime.
He denies charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.
