A massive Russian attack on Ukraine claimed the lives of at least 15 people and injured over 100 overnight, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Thursday, according to UNN.

On the night of April 16, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a large-scale combined attack using various types of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles across Ukraine. Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, and other regions came under enemy fire.
As of 08:00, at least 15 people are known to have died and over 100 have been injured. The final number of victims is being clarified
Kyiv
In the capital, 4 people died as a result of the combined attack, including a 12-year-old child. At least 54 more people were injured, including police officers, medics, and foreign citizens. Although, according to Kateryna Pop, spokeswoman for the Kyiv City Military Administration, there are "about 58" injured.
The Podilskyi and Obolonskyi districts suffered the most damage. 17 multi-story and 10 private residential buildings were damaged, as well as a hotel, an office center, a car dealership, a gas station, and a shopping and entertainment center.
Odesa
At night, the enemy attacked Odesa twice - first with attack drones, and then with ballistic missiles.
As a result of the attacks, 8 people died, including women aged 20-56 and men aged 23-26. At least 19 people were injured, some of whom are in serious condition.
Port infrastructure, administrative buildings, educational institution dormitories, and residential buildings were damaged. A multi-story building was partially destroyed as a result of the missile strike.
Dnipro and region
On the evening of April 15 and the night of April 16, Russian troops launched a combined missile and drone attack on Dnipro and the region.
In the city, 2 people died and 30 were injured, including children. Additionally, in the evening, four people were injured as a result of a UAV attack, including two young children.
In the Nikopol district, a man died as a result of FPV drone strikes, and three more people were injured.
Civil infrastructure facilities, educational institutions, a hospice, a dormitory, residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged.
Kharkiv
On the night of April 16, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with attack drones, presumably of the "Geran-2" type.
In the Nemyshlianskyi district, a hit was recorded on the roadway, as a result of which residential buildings were damaged. At least two civilians were injured. In the Industrialnyi district, a car caught fire as a result of the strike.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's offices in the respective regions, pre-trial investigations have been initiated into the facts of war crimes, provided for by Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
