Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding a man displaying a swastika flag in Pechersk, Kyiv, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the capital reported on Monday, writes UNN.
Police initiated criminal proceedings regarding the display of Nazi symbols in the capital's Pechersk district. Yesterday, while monitoring the Internet, law enforcement officers found a publication showing a man displaying a swastika flag on the street.

Information regarding this event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - manufacturing, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes.
"Currently, measures are underway to identify the offender and bring him to justice," the police said.
The sanction of the article provides for up to five years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
