Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky held talks with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius. The parties discussed the diversification of liquefied gas supplies and strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia.

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi discussed with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius cooperation in the energy sector - diversification of liquefied gas supplies and support in preparation for winter, as well as strengthening sanctions pressure on russia, reports UNN.

Details

Koretskyi called the conversation with the Prime Minister of Lithuania friendly and thanked for the consistent support of Ukraine.

According to him, Ukraine places great hopes on Lithuania's presidency of the EU Council in 2027 and consistent support for our European integration. The government will accelerate the implementation of necessary reforms on the path to EU membership.

We discussed cooperation in the energy sector: diversification of liquefied gas supplies and support in preparation for winter. As well as strengthening sanctions pressure on russia. Separately, we talked about the development of defense cooperation and the implementation of the Drone Deal initiative

- Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Koretskyi also invited Sinkevičius to visit Ukraine in the near future.
