It is reported that after relocating from the Donetsk region, the commission operated in Khmelnytskyi and considered the granting of disability groups to internally displaced persons and residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In August 2024, a man approached the institution to establish disability status. During the conversation, the official stated that granting him Group III disability would cost 5,000 USD. Following this, the man contacted law enforcement. In December 2024, the woman was detained while receiving the illegal benefit in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. During searches at her residence, law enforcement seized over 20,000 USD. The official was found guilty of receiving an illegal benefit by a public official, combined with extortion (Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
It is noted that the court verdict has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed.

The court decision states that she was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment, with a prohibition on holding positions related to the performance of organizational, administrative, and economic functions for a period of 2 years, and with the confiscation of all her property, except for her housing.
