Germany is currently unable to provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems, as it has already handed over 4 "Patriot" complexes, so allies are looking for additional means around the world. This was announced by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius following the "Ramstein" meeting, reports UNN.
Minister Umerov and President Zelenskyy told us earlier that they needed one system ("Patriot" - ed.) by the summer, but in the long term they need more. As you know, Germany has already provided four "Patriot" complexes. We cannot provide more at the moment
He argued that Germany is waiting for the delivery of new systems.
Therefore, we are not able to provide more, but we are trying to collect any air defense systems for Ukraine around the world
Let us remind you
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who is expected to remain in his post under the new coalition government in Germany, announced new aid for Ukraine after arriving at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
