Ukraine's foreign trade deficit in goods in January-March this year amounted to $13.3 billion, which is 54.65% more than in the same period last year. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, reports UNN.

According to customs data, in the three months of 2026, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $33.5 billion. In January-March 2026, goods worth $23.4 billion were imported to Ukraine, and goods worth $10.1 billion were exported. At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $16.2 billion, or 69% of the total volume.
Countries from which most goods were imported to Ukraine:
- China - $6.3 billion;
- Poland - $2.2 billion;
- Turkey - $1.6 billion.
Most goods were exported from Ukraine to:
- Poland - $1.1 billion;
- Turkey - $840 million;
- Germany - $659 million.
In the total volume of goods imported in January-March 2026, 71% were the following categories of goods:
- machinery, equipment and transport - $9.5 billion;
- fuel and energy - $3.8 billion;
- chemical industry products - $3.4 million.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine included:
- food products - $6.3 billion;
- metals and products thereof - $929 million;
- machinery, equipment and transport - $848 million.
