Ukrainian defense technologies and the ability of domestic companies to create effective weapons at a significantly lower cost than Western counterparts are generating increasing interest among European partners, military personnel, and arms manufacturers. This was stated by co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, Denys Shtilerman, during the international arms exhibition Eurosatory-2026 in Paris, reports a correspondent of UNN.

Shtilerman confirmed that during one of the recent attacks on Moscow, long-range FP-1 drones manufactured by the Ukrainian company Fire Point were used.
These FP-1 drones flew in and, as we saw, struck successfully. They worked very effectively against the "Pantsir" (Russian air defense system – ed.), which could not intercept them even with two missiles. But here we must give credit to the military. I am very impressed by how professionally everything was done. This is a very high professional level
At the same time, according to Shtilerman, what impresses European partners the most is not individual products, but their price-to-effectiveness ratio.

In his opinion, Ukraine's experience is already forcing European countries to reconsider traditional approaches to defense planning.

According to him, an increasing number of European high-ranking officials are visiting the stands of Ukrainian companies and carefully studying their experience.

At the exhibition in Paris, Fire Point brought almost its entire line of developments, including long-range drones and medium-range UAVs FP-1, FP-2, the FP-5 Flamingo missile, and ballistic missiles FP-7 and FP-9. In addition to the products themselves, the company is showcasing its own manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Regarding the FP-9 ballistic missile, according to Shtilerman, the company is currently awaiting the completion of engine tests.
