Blinken called on other foreign ministers to put pressure on Iran, Hezbollah, and Israel to achieve "maximum restraint." In an official statement, the G7 ministers called for an end to the "destructive cycle of retaliatory violence.
The publication also emphasizes that on Sunday evening, the White House announced that President Joe Biden will convene his national security team in the White House Intelligence Situation Room today to discuss developments in the Middle East.
