The mayor of Warsaw also commented on the consequences of Trump's victory, including whether the next US president could abandon European defense commitments. According to Trzaskowski, Trump is a “rational person” who speaks like a businessman and “takes responsibility.
The Warsaw mayor also reminded that Poland is the only NATO member that spends “almost 5% of its GDP” on defense, making it “a role model for NATO and the EU.
