The Security Service of Ukraine continues to actively detain enemy spotters in the Odesa region. Recently, another agent was detained who was coordinating Russian missile and drone attacks on the fuel and energy infrastructure of the southern region of Ukraine. The man was caught red-handed while installing a GPS tracker on a military fuel truck to coordinate an enemy attack on it in real time.
The detainee turned out to be a locally unemployed person recruited by the FSB. He came to the attention of the occupiers while looking for "easy" earnings on Telegram channels.
Among the priority tasks of this suspect was finding and transmitting coordinates of gas stations, as well as deployment points of Ukrzaliznytsia freight trains and fuel trucks of the Defense Forces. With targeted strikes on tanker trucks, freight trains, and local gas stations, the enemy planned to disrupt the supply to the front and destabilize the internal situation in southern Ukraine. During a search at the scene of the suspect's detention, a GPS tracker was found, which he was supposed to activate on a military fuel truck. Also, a smartphone with evidence of working for the enemy was seized from the detainee
The detainee has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). Currently, the suspect is in custody without the right to bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
