Since the beginning of the year, 346 women in Ukraine have received free fertility treatment, and 130 of them have successfully become pregnant, the National Health Service of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN reports.

Currently, 18 medical institutions in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, Rivne, Kharkiv, and Chernivtsi regions have contracts with the NHSU for the package "Treatment of Infertility with Assisted Reproductive Technologies (in vitro fertilization).
"Since the beginning of the year, the NHSU has paid more than UAH 8.7 million to contracted institutions for infertility treatment services," the institution noted.
