The Russian army fired more than 800 air bombs, 460 drones and 20 missiles into Ukraine during the week, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday, UNN reports.
Air raid alerts have been sounded almost daily across Ukraine this week. Last night alone, our air defense forces managed to shoot down about 50 attack drones. During the week, Russia used more than 800 guided aerial bombs, about 460 attack drones and more than 20 missiles of various types against Ukraine and our people
The President emphasized that Ukraine was not a testing ground for weapons. "Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state. But Russia still continues its attempts to destroy our people, sow fear and panic, weaken us," the President said.
He reiterated that Ukraine needs more air defense, and Kyiv is currently working on this with its partners.
