Zelensky on the Day of Medical Worker: “Now there is no hospital in Ukraine that has not experienced war”

President Zelenskyy congratulated the medical workers on their professional holiday. He thanked them for their dedication and emphasized that Ukraine's medical system is functioning despite Russian attacks.
On the Day of Medical Worker of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that there is no hospital in Ukraine that has not experienced war and that has not received wounded from the front or after Russian army attacks. The President emphasized that even after the brutal Russian attacks on hundreds of hospitals, we do not lose the ability of our medicine to save lives, UNN reports .

Today is your professional day. I want to thank you on behalf of our entire nation and society. Today there is no hospital in Ukraine that has not experienced what war is like, and that has not received wounded from the front or after the Russian army's attacks. Now there are no people in our medical community who would stay away from the whole state business of defending Ukraine
He added that Ukraine can be proud of Ukrainian doctors, combat medics, nurses and brothers - many people who, despite all the difficulties, work really hard.
"We can only thank the thousands of our medical professionals who work at the front, in areas near the front, in border communities, and throughout our country. Everywhere, the Ukrainian medical system remains functional and operational. And this is the merit of all those who have dedicated their lives to saving the lives of others," Zelensky added.
Zelensky also emphasized that even after such brutal Russian attacks as against Okhmatdyt and hundreds of other hospitals that were destroyed or damaged by Russian shelling, we do not lose the ability of our medicine to save lives.
