A serviceman accused of committing a fatal road accident will be tried in Kyiv. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation, according to UNN.

According to the investigation, the accident occurred on December 27, 2025, at one of the capital's intersections. A car, in which a woman was with her two young daughters and a relative, stopped at a red traffic light.
At that moment, a car driven by a serviceman, who grossly violated traffic rules, crashed into the vehicle at high speed.
As a result of the collision, the passenger died on the spot. Her ten-year-old daughter sustained injuries of moderate severity.
Investigators conducted all necessary examinations and established the circumstances of the accident. According to the examination, the driver was sober.
The serviceman is charged with violating driving rules, which led to a person's death. The indictment has already been sent to court. The article provides for up to five years of imprisonment.
Procedural guidance in the case was carried out by the specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Central region.
