Over the past 24 hours, 28 people were denied border crossing due to the lack of a document. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.

The number of refusals, for example, on July 17 was 87 people who did not have a military registration document... But gradually, every day the number of refusals due to the lack of a military registration document is falling, and over the past day 28 people were refused to cross the border because they did not have a military registration document,

- Demchenko said.

In addition, he said that the share of border crossings to and from Ukraine by men is not increasing significantly.

"The main category of people crossing the border are women, children, the elderly, and foreigners. But in general, over the summer period, starting in June, the passenger traffic has increased significantly. Now on weekends it reaches about 130 thousand people per day in both directions, on weekdays it is up to 120 thousand people," said Demchenko.

Starting July 17 , all men aged 18 to 60 are required to have a military registration document when crossing the border. The document can be either in paper or electronic form.
